Today is Sunday, February 7th 2010 and I am leaving for Argentina in 16 days! These past couple of months have been a blur, and I can't believe the trip is so close. Despite what my chip-in gadget says, I have been very successful in my fundraising efforts, and I am eternally grateful to everybody that has supported me along this exciting journey. With the trip coming so fast my parents and I have been putting all of our energy into getting my visa ready. Getting a visa really is a family effort, and we officially have an AFS table in our living room. Also, we are only allowed to take a 44 pound suitcase, so I have to strategically pack. Other than that I am just counting down the days.
